Car Issue - Personal

For all car guys and gals out there I want to let you know that Ferrari North America paid for the repair of the brake system on my 1995 Ferrari 456 GT. The electric motor for the ABS Booster Pump had failed. The recall was issued in 1997 and Ferrari still honored it, though it took a bit of effort on my part to get everything lined up. The car Gods were smiling!

Hey just a kudos to the Plaza service team. My wife's BMWs battery died, and Plaza gave outstanding service and immediately took care of it. The amazing thing is that I didn't buy the car at Plaza! You have earned a customer for life. Thanks for being a pleasure to work with.
Thanks,
Tim Shannon

You have the best luxury selection in St. Louis. Thanx Plaza motors. Ohh and by the way . . . LOVE the guru! Whose his hair stylist?

You may have the best cars and deals in St. Louis but whomever came up with the idea of the Plaza Guru needs to go. I suppose an icon of this sort would be okay for "Cousin Bill's Used Car Center" in Hickville, but not for a luxury car dealer like Plaza Motors.

Ray Wakefield's comment proves that the Plaza Guru does not filter his blog. I think the ads are fun and certainly far better and more clever than fat dealers in funny sport coats trying to be "exciting." If I wasn't on the path to enlightenment, I might be tempted to tell Ray to get a life.

The Wise Guru is an outstanding advertising campaign. When people talk about it, it is a good thing. Think of all the people who memorized the phone number "9999" as shared by the guy with the
high, squeaky voice! Whether you liked it or not, you repeated it, remembered it, and obviously people called that number and did business with him. Plaza knows how to create new, fresh ideas using the "guru" as a great gimmick. I love the ad's and as soon as I break into my piggy bank, I'm coming over to check out a preloved car with my name on it! Thanks for making St. Louis a wonderful big town with a small town flavor.

You realize a guru is a holy-man right? I wonder how many people would find it amusing if you had someone dressed as a priest or a rabbi cracking jokes to hawk cars. The irony of someone who has embraces simplicity and poverty being used to sell expensive "luxury" vehicles is particularly choice.

These adds are in offensively poor taste.

These adds (guru) are TERRIBLE!! and they absolutely cheapen the "plaza experience" -- fire the marketing people - these ads make George Weber seem classy...
